There is still a little room for growth in Skyway's upper most section. You will see new homes under construction and also find that there are still some lots available. This location also offers great views of Colorado Springs as it is almost centered above the downtown area below to the east and overlooks The Garden Of The Gods to the north. The Top Of Skyway is bordered on the northwest side by Bear Creek Regional Park and on the southwest by North Cheyenne Canyon Park. The construction of homes ran at a steady pace from the mid-1980s thought the 1990s. There are custom homes still being built, but there are not many lots left on which to build.
